About Nick Wood Media
Direct marketing from a local partner, not a faceless agency
I’m Nick Wood. I help Hampshire businesses get found on Google, turn visitors into enquiries and stop losing leads through poor follow-up. You talk to me, the person doing the work.
My story
From accounts ledgers to local search
I left school at 16 and went straight to work, first selling audio equipment in Slough, then in bookkeeping and credit control. I studied accounting at night college and spent years as a commercial accountant, including 13 years of contract work in Germany.
When my wife and I came home to the UK, I wanted to do something that genuinely lit me up. That turned out to be digital marketing. I completed my Diploma with the Internet Business School in 2015 and have been helping businesses get found online ever since, including three years at a local marketing agency.
Joining my local BNI chapter showed me what I enjoy most: sitting down with business owners, understanding what is really going on, and fixing it. Nick Wood Media is the result.
